Iris haiku, #40

Before leaving on a backpacking trip in the Wallowas I read the following haiku by Matsuo Basho:

looking exactly like
blue flag iris: blue flag iris
inside waters’ shadow

kakitsubata nitari ya nitari mizu no kage [^1]
