roots weave through dark halls
of stones I’ve stacked one by one
flowers a silken bloom

I love your stacked stones image.
Thank you Bill!

I appreciate the images of the stones you’ve stacked over the years and yet there are openings that allow the roots to produce blooms when they reach the light! The language of calling these space the “dark halls” is also very striking! Thank you
Thank you Melissa for sharing your appreciation for this post, I enjoyed your comments.

Stacking stones is the work and play of life, the result recording the passage of time.
Great image!
Thank Bob for this. I enjoyed your expression about work and play.
